Atlanta Vinos Wine Dinner w/Rob Mondavi @ City Grill
– MON, FEB 25 7p
Please join the Atlanta Vinos as we return to one of our most popular
tasting locations: The City Grill. Our friends from Robert Mondavi Vineyards
will be helping us explore the difference between the several varietals from
different regions of California.
What is the California Style? What difference does location in California make?
Enjoy a tasting comparing Napa, Sonoma, and Santa Maria using different
varietals to highlight the impact changes in soil and climate have on wine.
The first flight will highlight the differences in Chardonnay from Sonoma
(Arrowood Grand Archer Chardonnay 2000), Napa (Robert Mondavi Napa Chardonnay
2000), and Santa Maria (Byron Chardonnay 1999).
The second flight will highlight the difference in Pinot Noir from the lush,
full bodied Carneros based Robert Mondavi Pinot Noir 1999 versus the lean, austere
earthy Bryon Pinot Noir from Santa Maria Valley.
The final flight will highlight the difference between the soft, supple
Cabernet from Sonoma (Arrowood Grand Archer Cabernet 1999) and the big, bold
powerful Napa wine from Robert Mondavi 1998.
RSVP Now as seating is limited to 50 people.
