First of all THANK YOU to everyone who came out
this last Saturday to volunteer with Hands on Atlanta! The
appreciation party at Centennial
Olympic Park was tons of fun...plenty of food, drinks,
and live music were on hand!
On Thursday (although I'll be at Piedmont
Park - see the "Atlanta Illustrated" section
below!) Spice hosts their weekly "Sipping
from the Vine" wine tasting event and just a few
blocks down the Shakespeare
Tavern opens the curtain on the opening night of Macbeth.
On Friday be sure to stop in at Eyedrum
for Translations, where you can share your work in progress
with other artists. Then head over to Dad's
Garage for the Grand re-opening of the new top shelf.
On Saturday downtown neighbors Castleberry Hill host their
First
Annual Castleberry Hill Loft Tour which will include the
opening of Skot
Foreman Fine Art.
You can also catch Mr. Bill Cosby Himself @ the
Fox Theatre or take in a preseason Thrashers
game as they face the Florida Panthers.
Sunday night RUSH makes their triumphant return to the ATL
to rock Philips Arena!
