FIRST ANNUAL Artexpo Atlanta PREVIEW party

The International Art and Framing Group (IAFG), the leading producer
of art shows in the world, and the producers of the successful Artexpo
New York and Art Miami, will present the first-ever Artexpo Atlanta,
September 10 - 12, drawing nearly 20,000 art enthusiasts to the
Georgia World Congress Center.
Under the theme Art for All, Artexpo Atlanta will showcase art for
every taste, style and budget for new collectors, art enthusiasts
and patrons wishing to add to their collections. Art, ranging from
original works to high-quality reproductions, will be on display.
There will be paintings, prints, sculptures, photography, animation
and decorative arts.
"Artexpo Preview Party" Thursday, September 9, 2004. Tickets
are $25 and all proceeds benefit the Atlanta Gallery Association,
the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, MOCA GA, and Art Papers.

Challenge - DOWNTOWN ATLANTA
All the fun of a reality show without the smarmy host… The
Verizon Wireless Urban Challenge, in conjunction with Central Atlanta
Progress, the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District and MARTA, is
bringing the original urban adventure race to Atlanta on Saturday,
September 11. Think treasure hunt meets road race with a splash
of pub trivia thrown in. Join hundreds of others swarming Downtown,
frantically “thinking on the run”. Top teams from Atlanta
are invited to race for $50,000 cash in Miami at the national championships
in November.

and a partner put your minds to the test by solving brainteasers
that lead you to race through the city to 12 checkpoint locations.
Use any means necessary to solve clues—call friends with internet
access, trade with other teams, ask an Ambassador…resourcefulness
is key! Teams can only use their feet (walk/run) or public transit
to navigate the course. It’s a great way to explore Atlanta
