at Underground Atlanta could potentially give the perennially struggling
entertainment district a shot in the arm, but downtown residents
are concerned that increased activity there could also make getting

Comprehensive
development plan on mayor's agenda - The focus of Mayor
Shirley Franklins next two years in office will be to create
a comprehensive economic development for Atlanta, and particularly
downtown, she told a group of downtown residents this week. Franklin
told the Atlanta Downtown Neighborhood Association (ADNA) that the
primary focus of her work for the remainder of her term as
mayor would be to assemble Atlantas first comprehensive economic
