After taking their show on the road to Stone Mountain, 99X is bringing their summer concert series back to city center. DOWNTOWN ROCKS AGAIN! Everything Alternative 99X presents Downtown Rocks @ Underground. They're taking over Underground Atlanta every Saturday Night from 7-11PM July 9th- August 13th. The best part? The concerts are FREE!

Not to mention that Underground Atlanta features 8 NEW clubs in Kenny's Alley where you can party and bring drinks from bar to bar until as late as four in the morning for you night owls. Mark your calendars now and plan to spend your Saturday nights downtown this Summer!

MARTA is HIGHLY recommended. The massive performance stage, built exclusively for the 99X series, will be located just a short walk from the Five Points MARTA station at the intersection of Upper Alabama and Pryor Streets and will feature live music from 7PM to 11PM, each Saturday.

Flicks on 5th: Beauty Shop

Georgia Tech's Technology Square hosts Flicks on 5th, a free outdoor movie series, this summer at Centergy Plaza, 75 5th Street in Midtown. The movies begin at sunset (approximately 9:00 pm) and will be held every Wednesday, rain or shine, through July 27. Complimentary popcorn will be served and limited seating provided.
Heritage Arts Festival / National Black Arts Festival

Great Decisions: Outsourcing Jobs: U.S. Dilemma

Tonight's discussion is on Outsourcing Jobs: U.S. Dilemma. Outsourcing has been characterized as a threat to American jobs and companies by some, while others claim it is necessary to stimulate overall economic growth. What effects does outsourcing really have on economies that are sending jobs overseas? How does outsourcing affect economies that are receiving the influx of jobs?

Sunset Film Festival: Chariots of Fire"

On Friday, July 22, the third movie in North Avenue's Sunset Film Festival will be showing on the upper parking deck (or in the Broyles Ministry Center in case of rain). Everyone is invited to a free viewing of Chariots of Fire. Entertainment and fellowship begins at 7:30 p.m., and the movie will start at dark. Ample parking is available. No childcare provided, and please no pets.
