Y'all Rock Camp ATL is Atlanta's rock camp program for young musicians — a week-long intensive that puts kids on instruments, in bands, and onstage at the end of it. The showcase at The Masquerade is the payoff: real bands performing real songs on a real stage that has hosted thousands of shows over the decades.
Rock camp showcases are a specific kind of show — part concert, part celebration, entirely genuine. The bands are made up of people who have known each other for a week, performing material they wrote and arranged in that time. The Masquerade on July 11 provides the most meaningful possible frame for that kind of performance.
