Since opening in downtown LaGrange in 2017, Wild Leap Brew Co. has stayed true to its name — growing by leaps and bounds, venturing into spirits and creating ready-to-drink cocktails.
Now co-founders Anthony Rodriguez and Rob Goldstein are set to open an ambitious second location at Centennial Yards in downtown Atlanta. The multi-level brewery, taproom and event space located along Ted Turner Drive is within walking distance of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena and the Garnett MARTA station.
The 15,000-plus square-foot space features the Canyon level, which will accommodate private parties with pergolas equipped with TVs, ceiling fans and heaters. The building, originally the old Norfolk Southern headquarters built in 1912, blends contemporary neon signs, Big Ass Fans, and glass accordion walls with vintage furniture and lighting. A 3,500-square-foot patio with three fire pits sits on the other side of the Canyon level.
The venue will feature open-container areas for cornhole, pingpong, live music and festivals. A central walk-up bar sits under a winding wooden staircase leading to the street-level area with three additional bars and brewery space. The facility will have a total of 96 taps with exclusive beers available only at this location. Wild Leap spirits include vodka, gin, coconut rum, spiced rum and whiskey, with three new tequilas coming soon. Food will be served from a 25-foot trailer offering smashed burgers, hot chicken, ahi tuna sandwiches and loaded fries.
The street level also includes a speakeasy-style private event space accommodating up to 250 people, with capacity for concerts, comedy nights and ticketed after-parties.
