If you're not going to a match, the next best seat in Atlanta for the next five weeks is the official FIFA Fan Festival™ at Centennial Olympic Park. Free with registration, open from June 11 through July 19, and stitched together by some of the most distinctly Atlanta institutions you can name. Here's the curated tour.
The lineup (Phase 1)
Headliners Ludacris and Killer Mike were announced earlier this month. The Phase 1 supporting cast includes:
- Davido — Afrobeats global superstar
- CeeLo Green — the ATL voice that won 5 Grammys
- Kat Graham
- Hero The Band
- Nappy Roots
- DJ Rasta Root, Guero, Gente de Noche, Florista, B. Bruja, Jay Envy, and more
A lot of that lineup is shaped by LVRN — the Atlanta label and management collective behind 6LACK and Summer Walker, with deep ties to Davido and the wider diaspora-music ecosystem. Per FIFA, LVRN is essentially the festival's cultural music director — making sure the soundtrack is both globally relevant and "unmistakably Atlanta."
The voice of the festival: Kevin Egan
If you've followed Atlanta soccer at all over the past decade, you know Kevin Egan. He's the opening host on Day 1 and returns across all Atlanta match days as lead commentator. Per FIFA: "He doesn't just host the Atlanta FIFA Fan Festival™ — he helps make it feel like home."
The food: Georgia Street (June 11 – July 15)
The on-festival vendor street. Local produce, artisan food, handmade goods. Per FIFA, "rooted in tradition, made with care, and full of Southern soul." A place to wander between matches. (Note: Georgia Street wraps July 15, four days before the festival itself closes.)
The Atlanta spectacle: UniverSoul Circus
The Atlanta-born circus that built its name on bold, unapologetically Black, globally inspired performance is part of the daily Fan Festival rhythm — roaming acts, stage moments, pop-up performances. Per FIFA, this is the layer that turns any given day into "something memorable, full of movement, connection, and crowd-driven moments."
Opening day: Soccer in the Streets
The 30-year-old Atlanta nonprofit that builds soccer pitches inside MARTA stations (yes, really — that's StationSoccer) takes center stage on June 12. They're showing how a global tournament can move the needle locally — putting Atlanta kids on the field on the world's biggest football weekend. Per FIFA.
The R&B chapter: Summer Walker
The Atlanta-born, LVRN-affiliated voice behind Over It and 2025's Finally Over It is featured by FIFA's Fan Fest series. Specific performance date hasn't been confirmed publicly yet — watch atlantafwc26.com for the announcement.
