In 1905, the Coca-Cola founder, Asa Candler, commissioned two architects to create a building that would become a landmark on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta. The work of these architects, George Stewart and George E. Murphy, has been lovingly restored and reopened in the summer of 2019 as The Candler Hotel. The restoration of this stunning Beaux-Arts masterpiece represents a homecoming for Atlanta, bringing back a metropolitan polish that transcends trends and time. Within this iconic building, you will find a restaurant named By George, in honor of the architects who crafted its space. By George is the hotel's destination dining room, offering pure, classic cuisine with heavy influences from Contemporary American cooking.
