Dragon Con returns to Downtown Atlanta over Labor Day weekend, spreading across its host hotels and drawing tens of thousands of costumed attendees into the streets between Peachtree Center and Centennial Olympic Park.
The convention runs on a five-day track schedule covering science fiction, fantasy, gaming, comics, science and film, with programming that starts early and runs deep into the night across multiple hotel towers.
For Downtown, it is one of the highest-impact weekends of the year: hotels sell out, restaurants extend hours, and sidewalk traffic along Peachtree Street runs heavy from Thursday through Monday.
Badges, the full track schedule and host-hotel details are published on Dragon Con's own site; the parade on Saturday morning is free and open to the public.
