Smorgasburg Atlanta: Fall Season Opening Day

The country's largest weekly open-air food festival returns to downtown after its summer break.

Smorgasburg Atlanta reopens on Saturday, September 12, after closing for the summer. The market runs Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Forsyth Street in South Downtown, with free entry.

The Brooklyn-born market bills itself as the largest weekly open-air food festival in the country, built around independent vendors and emerging chefs rather than established restaurant brands. Its Atlanta edition launched in 2025 and has become one of the anchors of the South Downtown weekend.

Smorgasburg has not published the full fall schedule beyond opening day. We will add the remaining Saturdays as they are confirmed rather than assume the run.
