What it is
Anatolia Cafe has been a family-run fixture of downtown Atlanta since 2009, and the founding family still owns and operates it. The cafe sits inside the historic Muses building at 52 Peachtree Street NW, where soaring ceilings, a mezzanine seating level and a full bar make it a place to settle in. Georgia State students, downtown workers, residents and visitors all share the room.
Food and drink
The kitchen turns out Mediterranean-inspired comfort food: kebobs, wraps, mezze for sharing and familiar favorites with a Mediterranean twist, made with halal-certified meats. An express lunch menu serves the midday crowd, and the bar pours rotating beer and wine alongside the rest of its offerings. The cafe bills its lounge as Atlanta’s longest-running. Menus are posted on the cafe’s website, where you can also order online.
Before you go
Anatolia is an 18+ establishment. It opens at noon Monday through Saturday, stays open late on Friday and Saturday nights and is closed Sundays; the kitchen closes before the bar does. The entrance is inside the Muses building, steps from Georgia State. The cafe points guests to street parking and nearby public decks, and it takes calls at 404-589-8008.
