Beni's Cubano

What it is

Beni’s Cubano is a counter-service Cuban kitchen in The Hub at Peachtree Center, 231 Peachtree Street. It is the Atlanta half of a two-shop operation, with a sister location in Chattanooga, and it is built for the weekday crowd: hearty Cuban comfort food, handed over quickly and with a smile.

Food and drink

The namesake Cuban comes the classic way, with roasted pork, ham, Swiss, pickles and mustard, finished with garlic aioli. Other pressed sandwiches include the Milagro with pork, peppers and pickled jalapeño, a mojo chicken sandwich, a portobello option and a vaca frita melt with crispy pulled beef. Plates of ropa vieja, puerco asado, mojo chicken, vaca frita or portobello criollo come with yellow rice, black beans and sweet plantains. Empanadas, tostones and yuca fries round things out, and four house sauces, from mojo to an arbol chile hot sauce, sit on the side.

Before you go

Beni’s is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Online ordering and a catering menu with family-style trays, boxed lunches and sandwich platters are on the Beni’s Cubano website.
