What it is
Fulton Supply Lofts is a 74-unit apartment community made from a set of 1923 warehouse and office buildings on Nelson Street in Castleberry Hill. The conversion kept as much of the original building as it could: brick and granite walls, refinished pine floors, and old heart pine beams and columns. It is a contributing building in the Castleberry Hill Landmark District, and from its spot at the top of the hill it looks over the old railroad terminus that Atlanta grew up around.
What’s inside
No two units are quite the same. The mix runs from one-bedroom flats of about 680 square feet to two-bedroom, two-bath homes of around 1,500 square feet, with townhomes, up-and-down lofts and penthouses in between, and ceilings reaching 20 feet in places. Residents share a central atrium the building calls its town square, ringed by a fitness center, a club room with a kitchen, and laundry. The building is pet-friendly and carries a Southface EarthCraft green certification.
On screen
Fulton Supply has a long film career. The building says more than a dozen movies have shot there, beginning with Driving Miss Daisy, and it keeps a gallery of the film and TV productions made on site and around the neighborhood. Castleberry Hill itself is known for its galleries and its monthly Art Stroll. Floor plans and current availability are on the Fulton Supply Lofts website.
