What it is
The Georgian Terrace has stood at the corner of Peachtree Street and Ponce de Leon Avenue since 1911, directly across from the Fox Theatre, and it calls itself the Official Hotel and Restaurant of the Fox. Its published history includes the 1939 premiere party for Gone with the Wind, Arthur Murray’s dance lessons in the ballroom in 1918 and the Electric Ballroom concerts of 1970.
Rooms
Choose from three types of stay: the Hotel Series, the Residential Series, which has separate living and sleeping areas, a full kitchen and a washer and dryer, and the Penthouse Series on the upper floors. Extended stays are offered, and dogs are welcome.
Food and drink
The hotel lists three dining venues: Livingston Restaurant + Bar, Edgar’s Proof & Provision and Buffalo Bayou Coffee, which serves coffee, pastries and sandwiches.
