Match Bar & Oven

What it is

Match Bar & Oven is a Walker Street pizza bar in Castleberry Hill that describes itself as old-school in style. House cocktails and pizza share the bill with premium hookah service, and the rooftop takes in the downtown skyline. Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena and the Georgia World Congress Center are all a short walk away, which makes it an easy stop on a game day as well as a regular weekend night out.

Food and drink

The name sums up the pairing: drinks from the bar and pizza from the oven. If you would rather eat at home, delivery runs through Uber Eats. One thing to know before you order: the menu page notes that an 18% staff gratuity is added to every check.

Private events

The space can be reserved for receptions, retail pop-ups, nonprofit functions, corporate events and celebrations. Exposed brick, lots of natural light and the skyline view do much of the decorating, and the team offers customized menus for private parties. Before you go

Match is closed Monday through Wednesday and opens in the evening Thursday through Saturday. The site lists Sunday hours two different ways, one of them tied to NFL game days, so check before planning a Sunday visit. Minors are not admitted, and smart-casual dress is encouraged.
