What it is
Social62 is the restaurant and lounge inside The American hotel. It is set up so that cocktails and food are served in social spaces rather than in defined dining areas, with a bar-first, share-a-table feel.
Food and drink
Breakfast runs 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. on weekdays and 7 to 11 a.m. on weekends. The breakfast menu has eggs Benedict, a build-your-own omelet, biscuits and gravy, stuffed French toast, and red velvet pancakes. Dinner starts at 4 p.m. and includes chicken wings, white cheddar pimento cheese, crab cakes, a giant pretzel, a fried chicken Cobb salad and a pan-seared salmon. The sandwich list includes The Mayor's Club and The Governor's Cheesesteak.
