What it is
Thrive is a sushi and modern American restaurant at 101 Marietta Street NW, steps from State Farm Arena, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Georgia World Congress Center. The restaurant says it has been a downtown staple for nearly 20 years. It is privately owned by Trimi Dauti, with Ryan Kersting as executive chef.
Food and drink
The menu pairs signature sushi rolls with small plates, salads, sandwiches and mains such as seared salmon and steak frites. Lunch rolls include a Spider roll, a Firecracker roll and a Rainbow roll, and there is a cocktail list as well. Weekly and seasonal specials rotate, and a happy hour is part of the schedule.
Private dining
Thrive hosts full buyouts for up to 200 guests. The private dining room seats 30 to 50, or up to 60 for a cocktail-style reception.

Hours are Monday through Wednesday 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday and Friday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday is for private events only. Reservations are available through the Thrive website, or call 404-389-1000.
