Ernst & Young plans to move its Downtown Atlanta office to Midtown's Ten Twenty Spring

EY plans to relocate its Downtown Atlanta office and about 3,000 staff to Ten Twenty Spring in Midtown, targeting August 2026.

Ernst & Young is moving from its Downtown Atlanta location to Ten Twenty Spring, an office tower in Midtown

Roughly 3,000 employees work out of the Atlanta office of Ernst & Young LLP, and the firm intends to take that office out of Downtown. EY, a professional services company, has leased space at Ten Twenty Spring in Midtown and has the relocation slated for August 2026.

On the Downtown side, the plan involves a 110,000-square-foot office. EY's stated intention is to shift its approximately 3,000-person Atlanta workforce from that space to the Midtown building. The company announced the plan shortly before Rough Draft Atlanta reported it on September 1, 2025, describing the move as happening the following year.

Three floors on Spring Street

Ten Twenty Spring sits on Spring Street and totals 525,000 square feet. EY's lease covers floors 14 through 16 of the tower.

The building's listed features run from the scale of each floor to the space outside. Floor plates are described as expansive, and the windows are panoramic, rising 10 feet. A coworking lounge is part of the package. Outside, the tower adds private terraces plus outdoor areas that together cover 25,000 square feet. Those are a sample of the amenities rather than a complete list.

Part of Spring Quarter

The office tower is one component of Spring Quarter, a mixed-use project that Portman Holdings is developing. Portman is a real estate company based in Atlanta.

Spring Quarter reaches beyond office space. A residential tower with 370 units is part of the development, and so are several new restaurant concepts. The project also includes the H.M. Patterson Home and Gardens, a property that has been preserved and, according to a release, is being converted for retail and dining use.

What it means for Downtown

For Downtown, the core of the announcement is straightforward: a 110,000-square-foot office and a staff of about 3,000 are scheduled to relocate to Midtown, with August 2026 as the target.
