Georgia Aquarium's regular hours are one thing. Its special events calendar is another. This summer and fall, the Aquarium is running a series of after-hours and ticketed-separate events that turn the venue into something very different after 7 PM.
Glow Nights After Hours
Three dates this summer: July 10, August 7, and a third to be announced. Glow Nights After Hours is adults-only (18+) and runs 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The full Aquarium is open, with live entertainment, specialty cocktails, and an atmosphere that is nothing like the daytime version. The seasonal Glow Nights experience — a daytime immersive running through August 9 — is separate and included with regular admission.
Dragon Con Night — September 5
Dragon Con descends on downtown Atlanta every Labor Day weekend, and the Aquarium hosts its own official Dragon Con Night on September 5, 7 PM to 11 PM. This is a separate ticket from Dragon Con badge admission. If you are in town for the convention, this is the event to add to the weekend.
2026 Pride Kickoff — October 9
One of Atlanta's most beloved LGBTQ+ events returns. The Pride Kickoff at Georgia Aquarium transforms the venue into Atlanta's most distinctive pride party of the year — surrounded by whale sharks and beluga whales. October 9, 7 PM to 11 PM. One of the must-add dates on the fall calendar.
