Ambassador Force Info Booth

What it is

This listing marks the corner of Peachtree Street and Andrew Young International Boulevard, where Downtown Atlanta Inc.’s printed Ambassador Force card tells visitors they can find an ambassador information booth if they don’t run into one out on the street. The ambassadors are Downtown Atlanta Inc.’s street team, meant to be a friendly, easy-to-spot source of help for people who live in, work in or visit the district.

How they help

Ambassadors give directions and point people toward the services they need, and they also lend a hand with everyday snags like a dead car battery or keys locked inside a vehicle. They get around downtown on foot, on bicycles and on trikkes, so you are just as likely to meet one along the sidewalk as at a fixed spot. A separate clean team picks up trash, tidies public spaces and pressure washes sidewalks.

Before you go

Downtown Atlanta Inc. lists a support line at 404-215-9600 and a text line at 404-732-4200, which it says is monitored from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The public space operations team works out of 84 Walton Street NW, Suite 120. More about the ambassadors is on the Downtown Atlanta Inc. website.
