What it is
AZN’s Georgia State University location on Broad Street belongs to a small chain founded in 2016 by restaurateur Alex Xu. He built the concept after his youngest son was diagnosed with a gluten allergy, so the recipes were developed from the start to be gluten-free.
What to order
The core of the menu is the AZN bowl: pick a rice bowl with brown rice, a noodle bowl with vermicelli, or a salad bowl on mixed greens, then choose a city-named combination. Options include the Seoul with bulgogi beef and kimchi slaw, the Bangkok with lemongrass chicken, the Hokkaido with salmon and edamame, the Shanghai with shrimp and avocado, and tofu-based bowls like the Kyoto and Singaporean. The menu lists calories for each bowl. Alongside the bowls you’ll find fresh-pressed juices such as beet, kale and ginger blends, plus smoothies, teas and appetizers.
Before you go
This location posts weekday daytime hours and is closed on weekends, which makes it a fit for a Fairlie-Poplar or campus lunch. You can order ahead online, join the loyalty program for rewards, or ask about catering for groups. Confirm current hours on eatazn.com before you go.
