What it is
Rosa's Pizza is a family-owned slice shop at 62 Broad St NW, next to Georgia State's campus. The Rosa family started it in 1990 in downtown Atlanta, and says it has been serving the city for over 30 years. The family describes its approach as New York style pizza made with premium meats, real mozzarella, homemade sauces and fresh vegetables.
Food and drink
Lunch deals include two one-topping slices with a fountain drink, and a mozzarella calzone with a drink. Whole pizzas come in medium 14-inch or large 16-inch sizes, and there are gluten-free 10-inch pizzas. The menu also lists stromboli, baked pasta dishes, salads, cannoli and bottled sodas.
