What it is
Blossom Tree is a Korean eatery on Peachtree Street in Fairlie-Poplar, built around bowls and plates you put together yourself. Bibimbap comes loaded with steamed rice, crunchy vegetables and black sesame, finished with your pick of BT sauce in spicy, mild or sweet soy. Proteins across the menu include beef, chicken (grilled or crispy), pork bulgogi, shrimp and tofu.
What to order
Beyond bibimbap, the kitchen turns out Korean tacos on flour tortillas with a cabbage-and-carrot slaw, kimchi rice with BT BBQ sauce, simple rice plates and a Korean yellow curry with potato, carrot and peas. Most entrees come with two sides, chosen from options like kimchi, corn salad, sweet potato, soybean soup and vegetable dumplings. Gluten-free bibimbap plates are on the menu, and the lemonade list runs to yuza, passionfruit and strawberry versions.
Fans of the burgers from next door will find a short list of BT burger favorites here too, including a bulgogi burger, a Korean crispy chicken sandwich and garlic parm fries. The burger shop itself is at BT burger.

Blossom Tree is a weekday spot and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. You can order ahead online for pickup; the restaurant notes that new customers picking up an online order will be asked to show an ID and the card used.
