What it is
BT burger is a compact burger shop on Peachtree Street in Fairlie-Poplar, right next door to Blossom Tree. The beef is ground fresh daily, and nearly everything on the short menu gets a swipe of the house BT sauce, lettuce, tomato and pickled onion.
What to order
The namesake BT Burger adds a fried egg and the mild version of the sauce, while the Philly Burger trades the classic toppings for grilled onion, peppers, mushrooms and provolone. If beef isn’t the plan, the sandwich side of the menu leans on homemade hand-breaded chicken: a crispy chicken sandwich with pickled cucumber, a Korean chicken sandwich with Korean coleslaw and a regular or spicy Korean BBQ sauce, and a garlic parmesan version. A grilled chicken sandwich and a grilled chicken club round it out.
Wings come in flavors such as hot, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, garlic soy and Korean BBQ. For sides, look for the BT Fry, dressed in garlic sauce and grated cheese, or truffle parmesan chips, and wash it down with a strawberry or passion fruit lemonade.
Before you go
Combo meals bundle a burger or sandwich with fries, coleslaw or a small salad plus a soda or bottled water. Online ordering runs through the BT burger website, which also shows which items are available that day.
