Mayor's Park

A green space on Peachtree St NW where The Stitch project will eventually cap the Downtown Connector, reconnecting downtown Atlanta to Midtown over 14 acres. Home to the "Where We Weave" neon light sculpture by artist Eddie Farr, installed June 2026.

Mayor's Park

Mayor's Park sits at the northern gateway of downtown Atlanta, overlooking the Downtown Connector (I-75/85) where The Stitch project will eventually build 14 acres of green space, an amphitheater, a school, and a skate park over the highway — reconnecting downtown to Midtown for the first time since the freeway divided the city in the 1960s.

In June 2026, local artist Eddie Farr unveiled Where We Weave, a neon light sculpture celebrating the park and the Stitch vision. Jack Cebe is CEO of Stitch Inc., the nonprofit driving the project. Phase 1 (Peachtree Green, ~5 acres) is targeted for completion 2026–2030.
