Downtown's attractions district has a stadium, an aquarium, a Ferris wheel, and now a game show. The Gameshow Studio opened in January 2026 at 22 Park Place SE, a block from Woodruff Park, and was welcomed as 'now open' in the January edition of Be Downtown, the monthly newsletter of Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District.
The concept is a live, hosted game-show experience that runs about 60 minutes: a stage, studio lighting, and lock-out buzzers, with a host running contestants through rounds modeled on the television format. It is built for groups - birthday parties, corporate outings, bachelorette weekends, and the convention crowd that fills the hotel district a few blocks north - and it shares its space with Spin Art, the paint-flinging studio that already occupied the address.
The pairing puts two participatory attractions under one roof on a block that has been slowly filling in. Park Place and the surrounding blocks of Fairlie-Poplar have added restaurants, a bookstore, and residential conversions over the past several years, and the district's Pop-Up Opportunity Fund, launched the same month the Gameshow Studio opened, was designed to accelerate exactly this kind of ground-floor activity ahead of the World Cup.
For visitors, the practical draw is location. The studio sits within a few minutes' walk of Peachtree Center and Five Points MARTA stations, the Georgia State campus, and the hotel district, making it an easy add-on to a downtown afternoon rather than a destination that requires a car.
Bookings are handled through the studio's website. Its listing in the downtownATL Places directory is pending.
