Two new premium hospitality areas are headed for Mercedes-Benz Stadium at 1 AMB Drive NW in downtown Atlanta. According to a news release reported in March 2024, the Chairman's Lounge and the Stadium Club are scheduled to open in August, adding room for more than 350 guests between them.
The larger of the pair, the Stadium Club, is designed to hold as many as 200 people. Its pitch is flexibility: the space pairs an upgraded food and beverage program with a limited amount of reserved seating, and guests are free to come and go throughout an event rather than staying put in one seat. The announcement describes top-shelf drinks and gourmet small bites as the core of the offering.
The Chairman's Lounge takes a quieter approach. It will seat 154 guests and is positioned as a more intimate room where fans can settle in and follow the game from a polished setting. The lounge replaces Molly B's, the full-service restaurant that has been part of the stadium's dining lineup.
Access will not be open to everyone at first. According to the announcement, current season ticket holders for both the Falcons and Atlanta United get the first opportunity at spots in the two new areas. The release also points to upgrade options, add-ons and access to third-party events tied to the new spaces.
Doug Roberts, Vice President of Stadium Events and Premium Sales for AMB Sports and Entertainment, framed the project as a way to improve the fan experience and strengthen the venue's standing as a destination for both sports and entertainment.
The additions build on a premium lineup the stadium already offers. Existing options include the Maybach Terrace, the Delta Sky360° Terrace and the AT&T Lofts, and the Chairman's Lounge and Stadium Club will slot in alongside them as new choices for fans looking for something beyond a standard seat.
Design and architecture firm Gensler is serving as project architect. A rendering released with the announcement shows a slatted wood ceiling, clusters of pendant lights, a central food station and a bar topped with screens, with the seating bowl visible beyond it.
For downtown, the project shows investment continuing inside the stadium itself, with a former restaurant space being reworked into a new premium room. Falcons and Atlanta United season ticket holders who want a spot in either room will be first in line.
