What it is
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the downtown home field for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, and it also books headline concerts and big-ticket stadium shows throughout the year. The stadium calls itself the first professional sports venue in the United States to earn LEED Platinum certification, and its art collection runs from painted murals to monumental sculpture.
Beyond game day
Stadium tours take you behind the scenes, with stops at the locker rooms, the field, Window to the City, the skybridges and the clubs (routes can change). The Home Depot Backyard hosts free weekly programs and other signature events. On event days, Delta Fly-Through Lanes and a checkout-free market are built to cut down on waiting.
Before you go
Tickets for Falcons, United and stadium events, plus official parking and tailgating packages, are sold through the stadium’s website, which also posts fan guidelines and stadium maps. Tour guests enter at Gate 2, and the stadium points tour visitors to the Silver Deck at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Getting here
The stadium recommends MARTA’s SEC District Station (formerly GWCC/CNN Center), right at its doorstep, for arrival and departure; Vine City station is the other nearby stop. Neighbors include State Farm Arena, The CTR and Centennial Olympic Park.
