What it is

Atalian Kitchen & Bar is an Italian dining room on Andrew Young International Boulevard, in the heart of downtown’s hotel and business district. Owner Muzo Saritas, whose career spans hotels, cruise lines and restaurants, leads the team.

What to order

The dinner menu leans classic. Starters include Sicilian-style meatballs, risotto fritters, shrimp fra diavolo and a chef’s antipasto platter. Pastas run from a steakhouse Bolognese on fresh pappardelle to shrimp scampi, sweet potato gnocchi and beef lasagna, and entrées include chicken parmigiana, steak alla Milanese, filet Marsala and a braised short rib. Save room for tiramisu, crème brûlée or a cobbler. There is also a curated wine list and craft cocktails, and gluten-free pasta can be substituted.

Before you go

Reservations are strongly recommended for evenings, weekends and larger parties, and you can book a table or order online through the restaurant’s site. A roomy bar and lounge works for a pre-dinner drink or a casual meeting. Planning something bigger?
