What it is
NaanStop serves fast, fresh Indian food at 64 Broad St NW. The founders say the recipes were passed down from their grandmother to their mom to them, and that they spent months in the kitchen with her turning “a little of this and that” into written recipes. They started with a food truck in Los Angeles in January 2011 and opened their first restaurant in downtown Atlanta in August 2012.
Food and drink
The menu is built from marinated and grilled chicken in tomato cream sauce, a turkey Indian sausage, slow-cooked lamb in a tomato and yogurt sauce, and vegetarian dishes such as cauliflower sauteed with onion, ginger and turmeric, chickpeas, lentils and grilled Indian cheese. Dishes are labeled for gluten-free, Halal, vegan and vegetarian diets. There are also sides, drinks and desserts.
