Saxbys is a coffee company that runs its cafes as student-led businesses. The Saxbys site describes a 100 percent student-run model in which a Student Cafe Executive Officer, or student CEO, leads each cafe through the Saxbys Experiential Learning Platform. Programs
Students earn academic credit while running a real business, building leadership and hospitality skills. The company says it has developed more than 3,000 student team members and served over 9 million guests, and it works with partner universities across the country.
