What it is
ADios Cafe is the breakfast-and-coffee side of No Más Cantina, the Mexican dining and artisan destination at 180 Walker Street in Castleberry Hill. The cafe has been around since 2009 and has its own door on Walker Street. Once the morning rush passes it settles into an easy, seat-yourself pace, and plenty of people bring a laptop and stay through lunch.
Food and drink
Breakfast is the headline. Blue corn hotcakes come with passion fruit butter and piloncillo syrup, and the namesake ADios plate stacks chorizo hash browns with black beans, eggs, salsa verde, sour cream and avocado. Rancheros Verdes, chilaquiles, omelettes and breakfast burritos fill out the morning menu. The coffee list goes well past drip, with cafe de olla, a Mayan mocha, Mexican hot chocolate, espresso drinks and teas, and the bakery turns out desserts and pastries and takes celebration orders. Tortas de ADios, a newer offshoot, sells tortas, tacos and sides through its own online ordering page.
Before you go
ADios is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Breakfast runs until 1 p.m. on weekdays and until 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; after that, lunch, dinner, drinks and dessert carry on until close. Menus and pickup ordering are on the ADios Cafe website.
