The Podium is a planned five-story school building that is part of the redevelopment of Atlanta First United Methodist Church at 360 Peachtree Street NE. Downtown Atlanta Inc. describes the larger plan as adding about 300 apartments, most of them affordable, with new towers and The Podium rising nearby. The church’s annex, once the Wesley Chapel, may be restored and renovated to house a community assistance program.
