Sara Bareilles is a singer-songwriter and composer whose career has spanned pop radio hits, Broadway composition, and the kind of deeply committed live performance that earns an audience's loyalty across decades. Her breakout "Love Song" (2007) established her as a melodic pop voice with genuine compositional depth; subsequent work — including her Broadway musical Waitress and albums like The Blessed Unrest (2013) — confirmed a songwriter whose range extends well past what the radio version of her career would suggest.
The Fox Theatre is one of Atlanta's finest venues for this kind of performance — a room whose architecture and acoustics serve intimate songwriting as well as they serve theatrical productions. September 24 at the Fox.
