Million Meal Pack
Volunteers fill the State Farm Arena floor to pack one million meals for Atlanta food-security programs in a single day.
State Farm Arena turns its floor over to assembly lines on Saturday, September 26 for the Million Meal Pack.
The Atlanta Hawks and State Farm convert the arena bowl into a volunteer packing operation, with shifts of participants measuring, sealing, and boxing shelf-stable meals destined for food-security partners across metro Atlanta. The target is the number in the name: one million meals assembled over the course of the day.
It is one of the few days a year the arena floor is open to the public without a ticket to a game or a show, and the format is built for groups — companies, congregations, school teams, and families all work the same tables. Volunteers register in advance for a specific shift rather than walking up.
State Farm Arena sits at 1 State Farm Drive, directly on top of the Five Points and GWCC–CNN Center MARTA corridor.
