RUSH — Fifty Something, Night 2

Rush return to State Farm Arena on Friday, November 27 for the second of two Atlanta dates on the Fifty Something run. Two-night stands are not incidental for this band. A catalog spanning 2112, Hemispheres, Moving Pictures, and Signals does not compress cleanly into a single set, and the second night gives the trio room to reach further into the deep cuts and long-form pieces that a one-off date usually has to leave out. Fifty Something marks the band's half-century mark. Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee anchor a lineup carrying forward material written across five decades, much of it technically demanding enough that it has become a benchmark for the musicians who grew up on it. Music begins at 7:30 p.m. State Farm Arena sits at 1 State Farm Drive, a short walk from the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center MARTA station.
