Sega's blue blur turns 35, and the anniversary tour stops at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30pm. Sonic Live In Concert puts a live ensemble, rock musicians, electronics and vocalists on stage to play the music that has defined the franchise since the Genesis era, synced to the games' biggest moments on screen.
The setlist runs from Green Hill Zone through “Undefeatable,” with instrumental arrangements of fan favorites and musical Easter eggs threaded through the show. It also foregrounds the composers behind the sound — Jun Senoue and Tomoya Ohtani — whose work has carried across three decades of games.
This is a family-friendly night out for anyone who grew up with a controller in hand, and one of a short run of North American dates on the global tour.
