What it is
309 Social is a sports bar and restaurant at 309 Nelson Street SW in Castleberry Hill. The restaurant describes itself as a downtown go-to for sports, entertainment and time with friends, with game days as the main draw and signature drinks to go with them. It is a short stretch from the stadium and arena district, which makes it a natural stop before or after an event.

The online ordering menu runs from appetizers such as fried pickles, loaded fries and nachos to wings in sizes of 6, 10 and 20, plus tacos, a burger, a steak melt, catfish, chicken tenders and rib tips. Sides include collard greens and fried okra.
Private events
The restaurant takes bookings for large parties and private events; details are on the 309 Social website, where you can also reserve a table or order online.
