What it is
Fellaship.ATL is a downtown restaurant and cigar lounge that puts Southern cooking, cocktails and live entertainment under one roof. Brothers Cam Newton and Cecil Newton Jr. opened it in their hometown, and the name is a nod to the family-and-fellowship idea they say they grew up with. Two things stand out once you’re inside: the artwork, and a wall of fedoras from the hat maker Meshika that has become part of the place’s identity.
Food and drink
The dinner menu is built on Southern dishes, and the kitchen points first to its seafood pasta and a ponzu-glazed Scottish salmon. Cigars are part of the experience here, paired with a cocktail and wine list for those who just want a drink.
Events
The week has a rhythm. Wine Down Thursday puts Thursday Night Football on the screens and takes half off select bottles of wine and champagne. Fridays kick off the weekend with local DJs, Saturday nights are pitched at a grown-folks crowd, and Sundays bring the Jazz & Juice brunch with a live band.
