What it is
Auntie Vee's Kitchen is an eatery inside the Municipal Market in Sweet Auburn. Founder Navena Moore started it in 2012 with gourmet desserts and pastries at a local farmers' market, added a food truck in 2013, and won first place at the 2015 Mac and Cheese Fest.
Food and drink
The market page describes a best-selling mac and cheese along with Caribbean dishes, including jerk chicken and Caribbean rice bowls. The meats are listed as certified 100 percent Halal, and there are sweet treats too. Auntie Vee's also does catering and takes part in food festivals.
