Curly's Fried Chicken

Signature seasoned fried chicken at the Municipal Market, the Sweet Auburn Curb Market.

Curly's Fried Chicken

What it is

Curly's Fried Chicken serves hand-battered fried chicken from a stall inside the Municipal Market in Sweet Auburn. The family says the recipe is Daddy's secret recipe, passed down through generations. The brand began in 2011 as a tailgate tradition at Atlanta Falcons games, where Curly Johnson and his family served homemade fried chicken. A restaurant in West Midtown followed in 2012, and the brand returned at the Municipal Market, where Curly's son Steve carries on the legacy.

Food and drink

The signature chicken is coated in a seasoned batter and served hot and fresh. You can order online for pickup.
