Eggflip x SushiFlip

Dual-concept counter serving egg sandwiches by day and sushi by night inside CTR Food Works.

Eggflip x SushiFlip

What it is

Eggflip x SushiFlip is a two-in-one counter inside CTR Food Works, the food hall at The CTR, the reworked former CNN Center at 190 Marietta Street. One side is Eggflip, a Korean-inspired breakfast and comfort-food concept; the other is SushiFlip, which handles sushi and poke. The counter sums itself up as eggs by day, sushi by night. Eggflip comes from chef and owner Flip Koumalasy, who started the brand in Minneapolis, and it now has locations in Minnesota and Georgia.

Food and drink

The Eggflip sandwiches are built on toasted Korean milk bread with soft scrambled eggs. The Beef Bulgogi version adds bulgogi, cheddar, grilled onions and a house gochujang aioli, finished with chives. Breakfast burritos and bowls round out that side of the menu, with tater tots, bacon and spicy mayo among the sides and sauces. On the SushiFlip side, rolls and poke bowls are made to order, along with appetizers meant for sharing.

Before you go

Orders are taken in person at the counter only. The stall opens at 11 a.m. every day and stays open later Thursday through Saturday; current hours are on the CTR Food Works page for Eggflip x SushiFlip.
