What it is
Flora D’Italia is an Italian counter inside CTR Food Works, the food hall at The CTR, the former CNN Center on Marietta Street. The hall comes from the team behind Chattahoochee Food Works and New York’s Gansevoort Market, and it pairs a run of chef-driven kitchens with communal seating and a big full-service bar. Flora also has stalls at Chattahoochee Food Works on the Westside and Vela Park Food Works in Decatur, so some Atlantans may already know it.
Food and drink
The menu sticks to familiar Italian cooking done with care: handmade pastas, Neapolitan-style pizzas, sandwiches and salads, plus comfort plates like eggplant Parmesan and chicken Parmesan. Plan on it for a quick lunch on a workday or a no-fuss dinner with the family.
Catering
Flora puts together Italian catering packages for office lunches, family gatherings and bigger celebrations, and offers custom menus for large events. Details are on the Flora D’Italia website.
