Palate Atlanta Tasting Room

What it is

Palate Atlanta is a small tasting room in Castleberry Hill built around learning about wine. It used to go by the name Wine Shoe Atlanta. The shelves lean toward small-batch and independent producers from around the world, each bottle and craft beverage picked for its character and its sense of place, and the team treats teaching as the point of a visit rather than an extra.

Classes and events

The calendar mixes public classes with private sessions for members and booked groups: guided tastings, themed wine journeys, producer spotlights, seminars led by winemakers, hands-on workshops, tasting passports and monthly club meetups. Newcomers can start with the monthly Wine Party: New Traveler Class, a relaxed introductory evening aimed at curious drinkers and first-time guests. The tasting room also teams up with local businesses and creatives on themed nights.
