All Shall Perish is an Oakland-based death metal and deathcore band whose albums — including Hate. Malice. Revenge. (2003) and The Price of Existence (2006) — established them as one of the more technically accomplished acts in extreme metal's early 2000s deathcore wave. Their sound combines the blast-beat precision of death metal with the breakdown-driven song structures of hardcore in a way that holds up as a document of the genre's most ambitious period.
