What it is

Kenny's Alley is the entertainment stretch inside Underground Atlanta, which the Underground describes as downtown Atlanta's favorite entertainment district for restaurants, bars and live music. The page calls it a place to stop in any day of the week for lunch with colleagues, cocktails with friends or a cold one before heading out.

Food and drink

Footprints Jamaican Restaurant and Lounge is named as a Kenny's Alley tenant. Restaurant and club hours vary, so check the individual spots.

Events

The alley has hosted live music events including the Heritage Cultural Arts Festival, a Sweet Auburn Festival showcase and the Peach Drop. Underground Atlanta keeps a calendar of Kenny's Alley happenings.

History

The alley was once lined with saloons and livery stables, and it was probably named for P.J. Kenny, an Alabama Street saloonkeeper. Find more on the Underground Atlanta Kenny's Alley page.
