Bad Time Records is one of the more active independent labels in contemporary ska-punk, releasing records for a rotating roster of bands who have helped sustain the genre's underground scene through cycles of mainstream attention and neglect. Founded in 2016, the label has worked with Kill Lincoln, Catbite, and a growing catalog of acts who treat ska-punk as a living form rather than a nostalgia exercise.
The annual Bad Time Records Tour puts several of the label's active bands on a single bill and travels to venues like The Masquerade that have historically been homes for underground punk of all varieties. June 20 is for the listeners who already know exactly which ska-punk acts they want to see in a small room.
