Conway the Machine

Conway the Machine — born Devin Chavis — emerged from Buffalo, New York's Griselda Records alongside Westside Gunn and Benny the Butcher to form one of the most critically celebrated rap collectives of the 2010s and '20s. His style is rooted in boom-bap and sample-driven production, his bars dense with street imagery and hard-won perspective.

Albums like From King to a God (2020) and God Don't Make Mistakes (2022) — the latter debuting at #6 on the Billboard 200 — established Conway as one of underground rap's most consistent forces. Collaborations with producers including Alchemist and Daringer have produced some of the genre's most durable records of the decade. His Masquerade stop puts one of the rawest voices in contemporary hip-hop directly in front of a room-sized crowd.
