Pain of Truth with Madball & Rotting Out
Long Island hardcore act Pain of Truth headline a stacked Hell bill alongside Madball, Rotting Out, Contention, and xforever warx.
Pain of Truth headline the Hell room at The Masquerade on Friday, November 13, on one of the deepest hardcore bills the venue will run this year.
The Long Island band came up through the New York hardcore lineage and have spent the last several years turning that inheritance into something faster and meaner than most of their contemporaries manage. Their live reputation runs ahead of their recorded output, which is the traditional sign of a hardcore band worth seeing.
The support is not filler. Madball have been carrying NYHC since the late eighties and remain a genuine draw on their own. Rotting Out bring the Los Angeles side of the same tradition, with Contention and xforever warx opening.
This is a five-band night with an early start — doors at 6 p.m. at 75 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW.
